Scheduling data updates

Configuring scheduled updates of data sets directly from Power Embedded makes the process not only simpler, but also much more flexible.
With this feature, you can say goodbye to 30-minute interval limitations and enjoy unlimited updates!
An interesting point about this functionality in Power Embedded is that any administrator user can access this configuration, not needing to “take control” of the dataset to change/create a new time to be scheduled, which caused some inconveniences, such as losing the dataset credentials and having to configure it again.
Another relevant piece of information is that Power BI has a behavior that, if the update process fails more than 5 times in a row, the update is automatically deactivated.
In cases where a capacity or database becomes unavailable, this can have a major negative impact on the environment, requiring manual maintenance on each affected dataset.
With Power Embedded scheduling, this doesn't happen, avoiding this type of problem.
